Suspect in Ivy League Campus Shooting Found Discovered Dead Inside Storage Facility.
The individual suspected of being the recent fatal violence at Brown University reportedly committed suicide on Thursday evening, per officials.
His body was discovered at a storage location on Thursday evening, as reported from an enforcement source. The same individual is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.
“He committed suicide this evening,” said the head of the Providence police department during a press conference.
The chief named the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.
This news follows a significant law enforcement presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Journalists on scene reported seeing numerous armed officers entering the premises.
